"Sometimes the people around you won't understand your journey. They don't need to. It's not for them."
One of the most important things we can do, other than fall madly in love with ourselves, is to create a home inside of ourselves. People appear and disappear. Life changes at the drop of a hat. The best thing we can plan for is to follow what makes us feel alive, no matter what is happening around us. To be at home in ourselves. To be at home in the world. What seems strange to one person will make complete sense to another. The like-minds will always find you, when you're ready. Much of our journey of becoming ourselves is solitary, still. Which is why, without a shred of doubt, we must know the inner whispers of our being are the truth. Ancient secrets whispered and pulsing. Unique to us and where we are going. Not much matters when you focus on the aliveness. At home in yourself. At home in the world.
